Long boarding Terms
Here is a short list of some commonly used terms in the long boarding community

- Coned
- The state wheels reach when they are worn to the point that the the diameter of the wheel is wider on one side than the other. Often happens to wheels that are drifted and slid to excess.
- Duro
- The hardness of the wheel. Measured on the Shore A scale for urethane wheels. The lower the number the softer the wheel and the more it will grip.
- Fall line
- The fastest line downhill.
- Goofy
- A riding style in which you lead with your right foot.
- Mongo
- A pumping style in which you pump with your leading foot.
- Pumping
- 1.Pushing yourself forward with your foot.
2.The art of carving in a way that propels you forward without touching the ground.
- Quiver
- A collection of 3 or more long boards.
- Regular
- A riding style in which you lead with your left foot.
- Skogging
- Alternating pumping foot in a danceful manner.
- Wheel bite
- What happens when wheel meets deck, often the result of wheels too large or trucks too loose.
Foot bite is when your foot hits the wheel.
